You’re invited to join the Royal Australian Mint on the 2019 The Bold, The Bad and the Ugly Bushrangers Roadshow!

The national tour commemorates some of Australia’s most notorious bushrangers and will be landing in Wagga Wagga on Monday 12 August!

To celebrate the contribution of the bushrangers to Australia’s history, heritage and folklore, the Mobile Mint Team will be setting up a pop-up shop at Sturt Mall, Wagga Wagga.

Join in the fun and strike your very own commemorative The Bold, the Bad and the Ugly $1 coin, swap coins or cash for freshly minted and special circulating coins, plus browse new products from the Mint.

Be sure to meet some of the characters from Australia’s past when the Bushrangers Roadshow comes your way. In 2019, the Mint’s colonial era themed products bring to life remarkable tales from this period, from the Kelly Gang to the Birdman of the Coorong. Colonial Australia was a dangerous place, with remote roads and townships attracting lawless renegades known as bushrangers. Whether they were bold adventurers or frightening criminals, bushrangers have inspired Australia’s folklore and identity.
