Start:Mon 29 May 2017
End:Fri 02 Jun 2017
Details:
Do you love music and enjoy playing a string instrument (including guitar) or a recorder? Then this camp is for you - a one week, live in music camp for public school students from year 3 to year 6 who play violin, viola cello, double bass, recorder or guitar.

This camp includes plenty of great activities during the week to ensure a most enjoyable, rewarding and memorable experience.

Catering for students of all standards, the camp brings professional musicians and passionate educators from around the state to provide intensive tutoring and ensemble playing opportunities to students. There are evening activities, recording sessions and concerts by staff and students who wish to perform.

Held annually at Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre, students also experience the activities of Borambola, including archery, rock climbing and fencing.

The week ends with a formal showcase concert for parents and guests. Each year parents are delighted by the progress being achieved in a week and students count down the days until the following camp.
