Museum of the Riverina – Historic Council Chambers site

The Museum of the Riverina in the historic 1881 Council Chambers, provides a regular program of traveling exhibitions with a diversity of themes throughout the year. This majestic building is the heart of the city’s precinct.
The Historic Council Chambers was originally the City’s Town Hall and Municipal Offices as well as the seat of Local Government until 1999 when it was converted into the Museum of the Riverina. It has a wonderful wooden arch ceiling and a dignified atmosphere.
